Did You Know?

Dr. Greenleaf has worked for over 20 years as a member of the Childhood Rehab Services team in Mobile, Alabama. The team focuses on helping children with cleft palate issues and consists of an oral surgeon, plastic surgeon ENT, and orthodontist. Dr. Greenleaf is the only pediatric dentist on the cleft palate team in Mobile Alabama. 
 

Meet Dr. Stephen E. Greenleaf, III, D.M.D.

Dr. Greenleaf, a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama in 2000. He completed his residency and received his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Department of Pediatric Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky and Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky in 2002. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Millsaps College in 1995. He has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Mobile for over 20 years.

He has held offices in numerous dental organizations including Past President of the Mobile Area Dental Society and Past President of the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Greenleaf is the past chair of the Council for the New Dentist and Delegate for the Alabama Dental Association. He has served as an Alabama Dental Association Trustee for the Mobile Area Dental Society two separate terms. Dr. Greenleaf was on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry from 2008-2013 and is the current President.His current dental profession memberships include the American Dental Association, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has presented lectures to the dental students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and pediatric medical residents at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital. He is also the pediatric dentist member of the Alabama Children’s Rehabilitation Services Cleft Palate/Cleft Lip Team for the Mobile area.
